Christmas Past, at the Geffrye

How would we have lived if we lived in the 1600's, 1700's, 1800's? I know most people don't wonder these things, but I have always. I am the kind of person that has always felt like she should have been born in another time. If I ever make it to London I will definitely have to visit the Geffrye museum of the home. A museum of period rooms, showcasing the living rooms from 1630 to modern times.

They are currently displaying their annual Christmas past exhibition. Every room and garden is now decorated for Christmas. I would love to be able to see this.

For most of us that don't live near London, we can at least check out the website. The website offers 360 views and virtual tours of their various rooms and gardens. As well as pictures of their collections and info of  how the living rooms would have been like and how they lived

The Tudors are coming back!!!

The showtime show the Tudors is coming to BBC America for season 3.
Up until yesterday I thought season was were they had stopped making them. But I found season 3 and 4 on Netflix! From what I can tell, so far the story goes up to Anne of Cleaves and to the very wild Kathryn Howard.

I am hoping with the show coming to BBC America that they will continue to make them go all the way through to the end of Queen Elizabeth the I.
BBC America will have a season 1 marathon starting November 13th starting at 10 est. Then a season 2 marathon starting November 16th at 11est. After that a new episode every Wednesday at 9/8c.
If your into getglue they will have stickers for both marathons and each episode after that.

Happy Veterens Day

To all those that have served our my country, Thank you so very much
